One of the beneficiaries of Tabung Ihsan & Zakat is Darul Eslah Academy, a makeshift madrasah for Rohingya refugees’ children
It was set up by a Rohingyan, brother Sadek, in 2006 to create awareness on Islamic trachings to the children aged 5 – 13 years, with emphasis on tawheed, reading Qur’an and also academic including Malay & English languages, Maths and Science

Yesterday 11th March, handed zakat money to 8 teachers & staffs/volunteers and Duit Raya to 37 of the children. Apparently the school closed earlier this week as some of them are observing iktikaf at the masjid
