For a better tomorrow.

MOTORISED WHEELCHAIR FOR EX JOURNALIST

En. Rosli 53 yr old was a journalist with Berita Harian but was laid off nearly 10 years ago Thereafter he worked as a freelance until unknowingly found out he has diabetes 2.5 years ago. By then it was already bad; his nerves have gone numb- amputation was done without anaesthesia! Now his vision & arms are affected too. That’s y the doctor recommends the motorized wheelchair instead

His wife Azlina works as admin staff at SJMC. They have 2 children; the older girl is 22 studying at UiTM and the younger boy is 17 yo. The Komuteraya apartment where they are staying has still RM60K to pay

Earlier treatments were done at SJMC as his wife is entitled to family treatment up to RM20K. But the surgery & medication cost a lot more and now being treated at Shah Alam hospital

His other leg also has darkened and wounded. Although doctor says eye surgery has high risk, he has signed for a cataract surgery after Eid (mid May)

The plea raised by another journalist (Ernita) has managed to get some attention; albeit small contributions by individuals. Alhamdulillah will help to buy disposable diapers other personal needs
So far none has offered motorized wheelchair.

On 22nd April 2022 En. Rosli’s wish was fulfilled.  Using funds from PMP Tabung Ihsan, went  home with a new motorized wheelchair costing RM4799. PMP paid RM4K whereas the balance was paid by himself, from contributions he received from the public.

Jazaakumullaahu khayr to all donors.

Baarakallaahu feekum. Allahumma Aameen

Do continue to donate towards the needy through TABUNG IHSAN PMP
